Lots of players seemingly banned for incorrect crom coin balance

boyfriend still has the ban as well with no response his Crom coins started at a little over 8,000 then went up to over 18,000 then yesterday was back down. Mine was fixed it is sad this is ongoing but i am hoping it gets fixed soon really want to play but only enjoy it when boyfriend and i play together.

I confirm i got unbanned this morning and it’s sunday. I got no mail from zendesk though.

I have also been 3 days since the 14th without being able to play because I was banned.

I opened 5 and so far nothing

Is this ever gonna get fixed, i put in a ticket soon as the patch was downloaded on release date, Im still unable to play over 48hrs later, and still have not had any response to my email.
Also how do i find out my Funcom ID if i cant get into the game due to the bug ban ?

Hi,

on ban screen klick the help button. put in a valid email address. you’ll get 2 emails. one of them lead you to set a password for zendesk account. as username is prefilled your funcom-id.

3 days later still not reply, Funcom please i just wanna play the game and buy the battlepass and some new stuff. cmon


Unfortunately, there were a small number of people whose issue was not resolved by their automated process and would need to be manually reviewed. However, staff do not work weekends, so those who they hadn’t managed to get to before they quit work on Friday have to wait until they come back in on Monday. It sucks for those affected, but that’s just how it is.

I had the crom coins balance in invalid state problem that was solved, but now I have over 14,000 crom coins. I remember I definitely didn’t have that much before, I had something like couple of hundred coins. So is this a new bug or can I spend those without worrying to have to pay for it later?

Maybe it’s their way of compensating the players?

I’m pretty sure it is a mistake, they refunded me the exact amount that they had taken, and from my experience it is the same for most other players :slight_smile:

It might be a good idea to make a zendesk report of it to avoid a possible later ban for having spent crom coins that you weren’t supposed to have :slight_smile:

Agree with @Frillen wouldn’t take the risk Funcom isn’t that generous to compensate you.

If the mistake is on their side, I doubt they will ban him even if he does spend the coins. They had enough of issues because of the wrong balances lately.
In an other application I am on, there was an issue like this years ago. They had given some accounts free in-game money. It was their mistake, hence, they removed whatever was left of that money at some point for the accounts which had not spent it in full, but the items bought with that money before the fix were left to the players as an “apology”, because the mistake came from the company to start with. They understood the financial responsibility they had to take for their own mistake rather than making the clients pay for it. And we’re not even talking about banned accounts here!
So with the bans on Conan Exiles, I cannot imagine Funcom acting in a lesser way than what that company did, at the minimum.

Personally, in my ticket to appeal for the ban, I asked them to have a look at my Crom Coins amount before the update, because I have no record of my spending. I just have the record of my purchases on Steam (could find it thanks to this community). Since they ask for the Steam ID when you write the ticket, I believe they can somehow know how much you bought through Steam too.


That answer is a generic answer, but, either way, I’m in the positive now :smiling_face:

Check if you own everything you bought so far. If they couldn’t solve it easy, they might took you way back in your buying history.

 I had difficulties to check what I had bought in the game. I could not remember it lol. But then, I remembered I had written about it in this forum lol. The veggie stall. I still have it, thanksfully :joy:

To be honest I don’t know if I had the amount coins I had before, more, or less. I think they should add another TAB as a coin purse for all microtransactions, so we and the company know what is what in future transactions.

I also have a TON of Crom Coins suddenly. I made a ticket and haven’t gotten a response from Funcom yet, but I’m so paranoid to spend anything. I had just bought the battlepass with 1200 and now I’m at 24k Crom Coins because my “Ban” negative was -22k.
I really don’t like looking gift horses in the mouth, but damn it feels like a Trojan Horse style thing.

Yeah - im not touching it until funcom confirms- ill do my challenges for my coins
