I seen your video about daggers and you said they could be counter and now you saying they need a nerf lol funcom stop nerfing stuff don’t do it nert it now then what’s gonna get a nerf next week or next month never ending cycle
Stop with all the nerfing some of these players do nothing but bloody moan about anything .
Oh someone’s killed me with a one handed axe/ daggers/spears ect quick to the forum and complain its over powered and get it nerfed .The only nerf ive agreed on was the horse as this was almost a one shot hit
The real reason pvp players have mainly left this game to pve players is because
- No real goal for pvpers. There is no kill/death ratios.
- There is no economy driving a Loot based pvp. Farming is absurdly more efficient than killing other players for it.
- Raid mechanics have not changed or had any updates other than a fee new gods and a unbalanced tweak to trees. Made them more deadly, but a time sink waiting for them to craft and low hp. YmThus 1 hour to set up treb and a few explosive arrows destroys it.
- PvP is super easy to avoid by just having a horse or high grit and running away.
- The game loops do not truly make for pvp sites. There is no random “drop” that would pull players to a spot that is worth the risk of pvp.
I had to make a video on how to counter them because everyone that is average who kills skilled players with it… the skilled players will pick up the weapon just like how they did horses when they was o.p and drive the average players and others away since it’s is just no fun and no skill base to spamming a weapon like that with no real draw backs

The PvP Community is like that because it’s toxic and full of whiners like you who cannot adapt to anything new and want to cry about it to be changed to fit your style and when that doesn’t happen they leave.
Except in reality that clearly is not the case. The vast majority of the populated server are private RP servers. Not hardcore pvp servers. So no, RP is what fuels the community.
Yeah, that’s not skill “homie”. PvP isn’t about skill. Hell it isn’t even about PvP. It’s all GvP aka Group vs Player because no one cares about skill. Sit at an obelisk with 8 people and kill a single person as they are porting in before they can move. SKILL!!! Sit at a dungeon entrance with a group of 10+ and kill people 1 by 1 and they are exiting before they can move. SKILL!!! Raid a base while the clan is offline. SKILL!!! What about PvP is skill based?
Agree, reduce poison/bleed stacking to at least 1 on daggers. (I remember the times when they used to be 3 per hit, this was incredible).
On the other side, it can be very strange to connect hits with daggers in certain situations. They don’t connect and you just dash against the enemy. This needs to be fixed when the stacking is gonna get changed. The fact that they don’t have hyper armor on light attacks makes you very vulnerable if you miss because of a weird hitbox and don’t stagger the enemy.
Agreed. Although spamming light I found to have better hit detection plus hyperarmour in certain situations and feels like a spear with poke nd roll just with status effects being a little too over powered for new folks or average players
Definitely. If you do heavy attacks, you are in a worse situation than spamming 1h axe heavy attacks. The range is abnormal short. Unless the enemy is literally stuck next to you in a corner and already staggered.
A bit off topic, but I personally dislike this whole light/heavy system. It should rather be: normal attack and hyper armor attack, which would cost more stamina. So you need to decide when to use normal attacks, which can get easily interrupted or hyper armor attacks with no interruption but with higher stamina usage (display different weapon trails for hyper attacks, to make it visible for the opponent).
Sounds interesting. Idk about the armour I like and don’t like that they changed it. It kinda grows on me since stamina is now a big time thing… they need to bring back the old fatigue system to again lunish players who can’t manage stamina and reward players who can spot this. Heavy Armour I feel should just be for trades and looking for a tank role or be on a horse. Lance needs looked at since you can glitch a lances damage to a spears and 1 shot players on the ground again but other than that everything else is kinda balanced. The glitches. Daggers and Claws need worked around and looked at and we’re in a state where conan pvp will be really really fun again and bring in more people. Especially if it takes more skill. Gives people a reason to play and learn

They should remove PvE and PvE-C servers. So all players have the same experience.
But before that Funcom should analyse and learn why players play PvE only. And fix the game accordingly.
Dividing the playerbase like this is a bad thing. We can already see it on the Forums. People with zero Raid/PvP experience comment on these kind of topics. It’s like a farmer wants to tell an astronaut how to move better on other planets/moons.
But when all people get in touch with PvP/Raid mechanics in the game, then Funcom has more feedback to make balance decisions.
Why not remove PvP servers, too? With Single-Player as the only option, everyone would have the same experience, and no-one’s experience would be ruined by other players trying to force their playstyle onto others.
The backflip has no i-frames. If you left click and miss and backflip out, but at the same time someone hits you with a spear, you will get damaged and a poison stack (if he has poison applied).
But yes, they could increase stamina consumption a little. But it should still be lower than 1h axes.
Speaking of which, did you compare stamina usage of 1h axes and 1h swords? I think this is incredible. Axes are so much better in this regard.
This is how ONLINE games work. Most people online and in anonymity are a-holes. But believe me, if everyone is on the same playground, balancing this game will be a lot easier for Funcom. The other option would be to divide this game and balance each branch seperatly. But I can understand that this would be pure chaos for Funcom, managing Conan PvE, Conan RP and Conan PvP.
EDIT: Wouldn’t it be a good feeling to punish such people that want to ruin your gameplay? And being able to punish them because there are no cheesy things that they can abuse like offhand animation canceling, 4th hit glitches or OP daggers/claws with negative status effects? The feeling of getting better at the game and dominating these fools who try to mess with you. This is what makes PvP fun. Getting better and finally being able to beat that player. Taking revenge. Instead of permantly going to hide in SP/PvE modes for any potential danger. This is cowardism to me.
I mean you all want to be these savage barbarians that Conan Exiles wants you to be. Being savage to NPCs is lame and boring, but doing it to other players who show disrespect, this is the best experience IMO.

When I can 2v1 high tier players and WIN with any weapon combo vs Any combo… BUT once daggers get pulled out. It becomes a poop show… and it’s a high possible chance I may die… BUT what makes daggers look balanced you say??? Jheb claws and blooded claws etc are all SOOOOOO BROKEN. It’s not even fair or fun at all. Just a lag fest of them hitting you . You cannot run. These weapons are Craftable now and it’s just stupidly o.p and if conan doesn’t do anything then the pvp community will fall apart more than it already has
