Obviously, a timely fix is OFF the table. This is literally a DEFCON 1 situation for the game. Time to fire up Zoom, Webex or whatever you use internally and smash some *nix heads together and pull off a rollback. EVERY other solution is insufficient. Too many unique and unobtainable thralls were lost. Same goes for items they might have been carrying. If you expect ANYONE to hang around for Chapter 2, you need to collectively pull your heads out of your fourth point of contact, STAT.

Let’s say they do have them. Still, we are gonna be stuck in a loop of incompetence where they can’t do rollbacks because it’s a weekend/company vacation, and we can’t do rollbacks because it might inconvenience people.

Anything short of a rollback is too little. No conversion or thrall leveling speed increase event is going to fix this.

They wont consider a rollback if its more than a few days. Because then not did the people who lost thralls got screwed, rolling back weeks is then going to scew up everyone who wasnt effected by the thrall purge. So you have 2x the amount of angry people from both sides of field.
Hate to say it. But all were going to get is the usual piss poor apology letter and a x2 gather increase
That said. I dont think thrall decay should even be a server setting that can be changed. Remove it. And hardcode the thrall decay into the game and have it set to 15 days permanently
Coincidental that the new update has to do with making the purge harder.
What’s harder than having to gather thralls and completely outfit them again from scratch?
Great timing for this terrible bug.
Make it right with a rollback.

Since the game has existed, to my knowledge, there has never been a restoration of the server, sorry but consider your thralls as lost, you risk being disappointed otherwise.

seriously WTF. 70 thralls GONE in an instant. I was just logged into 1504 on 8/29 to refresh my bases, seen this post on Facebook and then logged into 1504 and every single thrall is gone. Please rolls this back.
i have been on 1504 since launch in 2018. had many unique thralls that can not be replaced. I am just sick to think about that and all the epic/legendary gear lost as well.

Sorry, but this is utter bull.
You can’t compare the losses someone has over a weekend to people losing dozens, some over a hundred, of fully leveled and equiped thralls, especially considering some of them are now irreplaceable.

I’m no expert, but how hard would it be to simply drop a line of code in to restore all the items ( thralls pets) that were listed in red due to player not visiting them for a long time , like one day lol)
That really ought to be doable

If there is no server rerol this time (which should already have happened after that mistake with Nemedian) I lost all trust in this game and advice people to stay away from this game.
I’ll even pay them not to buy this game if necessary.
I go focus my time on other games, where developers take responsibility.
Seriously… wtf are you guys doing… if you no longer want us to play your g*** game just tell us no need to keep us on the leash.

Same procedure as last time. Wait until its too late to rollback and then apologize for doing nothing.
Guess officials are seeing another gathering and leveling rates buff as apology and then they move on.
This company has become so predictable in how badly they handle things like this.
It would really depend on that happens to the data once anything decays. If there is a record of the database entry, what thrall/pet and what level it was, with what feats, what item items and where it was located and that record was just removed from the world info at spawn in, it should be easy to restore. If decayed items get deleted to free up database space, then not so much.

I can and I will. Their achievements are no less important to them than yours are to you. You don’t know how hard they had to work for whatever it was they did, or how it made them feel to achieve it. It doesn’t matter if all they had was a small square shaped building and a couple low level thralls. Maybe that was the first time they learned to make a rooftop that wasn’t a flat surface. Maybe they can only play on the weekends, which means a rollback costs them not just a day, but a full week. Think about the very first, and I mean very first time you beat say, the Dregs. Or The Wine Cellar. Or Warmaker’s Sanctuary. Would you have been particularly pleased at the time to have that accomplishment just wiped out like it never happened?
Point is, you have no right to judge just because you’ve got more thralls or because you’ve played longer.

I highly doubt they’ll roll back the servers its just to much work ,its funcom after all, come on ive been froze on siptah for the whole season is it that hard to fix,now i wish they let people know what there going to do, i dont want to waste anymore time on exiled if there will be a roll back, one good thing is the lag is very low today!

Fair point, but some folks spent real money with the company to buy stuff only available during special one off events…

It would be more than a simple line of code, I can easily guarantee that much.

And I’ll counter with, what are these mythical people you are championing going to do when the game dies before Christmas due to a mass exodus? EVERYTHING, they have earned over the weekend is still recoverable in the event of a rollback. There are thralls and gear that CAN NEVER be reacquired without a rollback or some really fancy coding from FunCom, which cannot even get a numeric variable right in a script file it seems.

First of all, they aren’t mythical and it’s the height of foolishness not to acknowledge their existence. After all, you yourself are one of them. You just haven’t realized it because you’re too obsessed with losing those thralls.
Yes, everything people may lose in a rollback is still recoverable. So are those thralls you lost. Sure, those legacy thralls may have had better stats but strictly speaking they’re not really supposed to be around anymore anyway. Deny it all you want, they can be replaced.
