Server 3515 not working properly

Once again could not login to server 3515 all weekend. I refuse to send you data when it has been this long and it is an easy thing to confirm the server is broken. We have repeatedly told you the times it does not work (once again, anytime after 2:00 PM PST is a guaranteed no login) and from many users. The data and whatever things you “say” you’re working on may be misleading. Our characters do login to the server and will die if we sit at the load screen too long. And the fact that sometimes we have to post just to keep this thread alive is ridiculous

Not without the data? Not being helpful doesn’t make them fix it any faster; it actually has the opposite effect.

There has been five months of us sending them data and running tests.
They are still treating this as player side connection issues and not an issue with the servers.
The only data they keep asking for at this point is another tracelog or that we play on a test server (with a latency cap for logging in) that’s not even in the same region as the servers having issues.

I also have not been able to log into 3515 after the first two days of the hotfix.
I have also noted that, according to the server list, 3515 has a ping similar to all the other servers that work (or lower) and that zero players are listed on 3515.

I love when random people chime in and take fractions of statements out of context. As for your earlier comments in this thread - other servers work fine. This has been an issue for four months and multiple threads that get closed out or die because there is no Funcom response for more than 7 days. My post today was mostly just to refresh. In the rare instance you actually care, data HAS been sent by many people over and over and we are still told the issue can’t be confirmed. My post was saying there’s no reason to send more data (that they privately requested from me) when they continue to say no issue can be confirmed. They could simply try to login themselves to see the issue for confirmation and that could help them analyze the data they already have for new ideas

To further clarify on this matter, the main issue seems to be related to the database size and not connectivity as we had initially thought, as all our tests in this regard didn’t detect any problems, including the ones that we’ve requested some players to do privately so that we could gather on how different ISPs were responding to our server provider’s ISP, to be as thorough as possible.

Databases have a tendency to become very large on PvE and PvE-C servers, and our developers have been working on several optimizations that will help with this matter that were recently deployed for the PC and will hit the consoles soon:

With the above update, most server databases have had considerable reductions in size, up to 30%, having a noticeable performance impact on the server hardware.

We’ve also been running some tests and benchmarks on different hardware to determine if this could mitigate the issue together with the above optimization, which we have been slowly scaling.

We’ll be doing some additional maintenance to both 3514 and 3515 tomorrow morning and will appreciate any feedback, thank you for understanding.

Lets hope was once on 3515, went to 3514. Same thing, waking up in desert, no doors, rolling for hours, get to 99.9 percent loaded, enemy music won’t stop, base won’t load while dragging a thrall, but I love the game. It is comical on the server screen when it shows only one player, get out man it’s a trap.

Maintenance has been concluded on both #3514 and #3515, due to an IP change it’s possible that they won’t be present on the favorites and last played lists so you might have to look them up once more.

Hi Hugo I could not access to the server 3515 after the change of IP. There’s anything I could do? Any help from your side ?

@elnaca can you find the server through the server browser?

If so, do you have any issues connecting to the server?

Hi, yes I can find the server on the list, the issue is the infinite loading screen. Last week I could get into without issue at all.

I’m in the same position as Elnaca. I found the server easily by searching for it but it’s just the unending loading screen.

Just wanted to update you. So far I’ve been able to log in for four days in a row. Haven’t been able to do that in a long time. I’d like to keep the topic open till it’s been a week, to make sure the fix holds, but so far it’s good :grin:

Already lost everything on the server. I restarted on an European server and sinces yesterday im facing exactly the same issue. This is not about the server x or y It seems to be happening in all PVE Conf servers. The one im trying now is 3051. I already started to gave up from PVP and looking at this current situation probably the only Conan i will play will be offline.
