Testlive Patch (16.04.2019) - Sunken City fixes and more

Hey everybody!

We’re back with a new patch aimed to fix some of the issues you reported regarding our newest dungeon, the Sunken City, along with a few extra polishing touches for the dismantling bench and the unstable skeleton companion.

As always, we’re keeping an eye on your feedback regarding our newest additions so please let us know of any issues. Thank you all for your continued support!

Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.

  • Optimized the Sunken City dungeon.

building

  • Fixed an issue where placeables would lose stability after server restart.

ai

  • Reduced the hitpoints for the unstable skeleton so that it dies in a single hit. This will prevent exploiting the function for the skeleton while still retaining it’s intended use.

general

  • Fixed an issue where arrows were possible to dismantle using the dismantling bench.

terrain

  • Fixed a number of stuck spots and graphical imperfections in the Sunken City dungeon and the Scorpion Den.
  • Fixed an undermesh location in the Unnamed City.
  • It’s no longer possible to swim outside the boundaries of the Sunken City.
  • Fixed a number of teleportation issues in the Sunken City that would make the player teleport under the world.

Separate TestLive Product on Steam

We heard your input regarding the inconvenience with having to switch back and forth between the main game and our TestLive servers. To make it easier for you and because we really value your testing and feedback, we added a separate product for the TestLive server on Steam.

If you own Conan Exiles on Steam, you should now see a separate Product called “Conan Exiles - Testlive Client” in your library which gives you the option to install an additional instance of the game specifically for the TestLive servers. Please be aware that this will prompt you for a full additional installation.

We are aware that not everyone wants install or has space for two full installations. For those of you who don’t want to play through the additional TestLive Client, you can still access the TestLive servers through our old method.

Vers nice, will try it out! :+1:t2:

Thank you for the new patch, and let’s test again !

Unfortunately, sliders are still not working in singleplayer and i guess on privat-servers. Some do, but long not all.
Like thirst, hunger can’t be changed, purge doesn’t work. Combat, decay-system same, sliders doesn’t work.

This make it way harder to test.

Hey @Vattende

Which sliders are not working?

From what i experienced on Test Live version, the damage taken and given for both NPC and player sliders in the main settings won’t save if you adjust them on SP.

Any eta of this on ps4 cant wait for water dungeon!

usually if bug free, the turnaround is @ 2 weeks. Just depends on bugs that it has, or worse any new live bugs pop up that move devs to that side before completing the test build prep.

Hunger/thist, purge, combat, and i’m sure i forget some.
Not in game yet. But this the most important i remember right so.

Hunger/thist yes, nothing dramatically with that, but while testing, it’s still matter of time.

Purge, bit bader, because not possible with different settings. Seems i’ll trigger i purge soon, this with default settings, but it’s hard work alone.

Combat. Here again for solo, hardcore, timeconsuming. Went to jungle dungeon with a new 30lvl char, came out lvl 60, need more levels now.

Yes, you can play with the settings in the ini file… I have, and it worked, as for which sliders, all of them.

You mean raising the lvl cap? Nooo pls, lets not make this game Dragon Ball shall we? It is not MMO, the game is fine having more content without the need of lvls, that would mess even more balance.

You know, i was joking.

I mean, kind of entering dungeon with a low lvl 30, coming out at lvl 60.
Anyway, happen to me use mods to rise my levels. I love the leveling thing, it’s motivating than just without. I play mostly with default settings, but still so, i’m still again max level.

Sometimes i go under the default settings to make it slower. Yeah, i know, i’m special.

Hahah ok, didnt catch the joke :stuck_out_tongue: you got me there hehehe

Is there any official ETA on the release of the Sunken City/undead alchemy update to the live build?

Not yet, but it shouldn’t take too long.

I see this was just dumped on live. I sure hope all the bugs people reported were fixed first since there hasn’t been an update here in 3 weeks.

hem, not all, and spotted some biggies.

  • Like passage not climbable, like most caves.
  • Settings also resetting for most part.
  • and the bodies glitching partially or fully in ground when killed (npc)
