You were not “driven away” from the forums, you were simply unable and unwilling to receive constructive criticism.
You posted a list of suggestions. Several were good and a lot of people agreed with them, but one of them was unpopular.
People disagreed with that one and gave you a ton of valid reasons and arguments. At no point did you ever deign to respond to these arguments, you simply kept repeating and reasserting your own claim. Instead of engaging in the discussion, you treated everyone like children – “you only think you would quit if there were wipes, but you wouldn’t” – and when we called you out on your arrogance, you declared that you would quit the game ad the forums, and proceeded to ask for the thread to be closed.
So please, tell me again who in that thread deserves to be called “stubborn”.
See? This is exactly what I was talking about. Anyone who disagrees with wipes obviously doesn’t enjoy playing the game, we just look at it. You know us better than we know ourselves! 
Whereas you obviously enjoy the game, as per your own words:

I’ll take your advice about how to be clever in communication when you prove that you’re capable of actually engaging in a discussion, instead of simply yelling the same thing over and over and playing the victim when people disagree.
