In my family nobody is forced to do anything, I gave birth to free people and my job is to teach them and guide them, the choice will be always theirs. As long as your children do not harm them self or others as a parent you do a good job in 1/3. But beware!!! A lot of people believe that their children are “good” because they did a good job 3/3, this is wrong.
A parent can be responsible for the 2/3 of what kind of person their child is, the last 1/3 will always belong to them.
1/3, is parental guidance
1/3, is education in which you can still guide and support as much as you can.
1/3 quality of human being. Unfortunately the child will take geens from 7 generations from fathers side and 7 generations from mothers side, go figure…
In this part, no matter how good you are, no matter how much you try, it’s theirs and as soon this person go away from your wings this 1/3 will define his/her life too.
Was I ungry with them? Guilty as charge.
Was I always supportive? No
Was I always there? I tried
Am I a good father? Only time will tell, but definitely this is not an answer I am allowed to give about me, it’s wrong. The only thing is allowed to say here is “I tried my best”, I still do.
If you ask yourself: “Am I a good father (or mother)”?
And your answer is NOT: “YES!”
Then the chances are good, that you are! 
Or as in my case, just aware of how badly I sucked at it.
And then everybody are confusing , why grows up humans who likes army and shooting others at school

Harold and koumar with drugs had 18+ marker, now its 7 + xD… i mean something is going badly, even if by evolution human brains addapts and evolves, some things should stay on age itself
Just this is why there in world are wars and so on, because kids grows up playing slaughtering games and are like robots who just dont care only maybe some may figure out whats normal whats not
And i was restricted mostly because not like i was not allowed, but because i did not had rich parents who bought me gaming pcs 
even this one i am now on are really wood one …
Soo at end i say i agree to u 50/50. no need to go like all and so but some things should remain age restricted … until they brains develop possibility to understand correctly

It is a big conversation… Especially the pressure on children these days is huge, we cannot cover it in some lines, either we are able to give solutions to such huge crimes our civilized system fall in to. It sounds so easy to say it, but we speak about an unspeakable tragedy for numerous families…
Trust me, it is not the video games that makes a person able to kill, but his ability to do it.
I am speaking from fathers side and I tried not to press them the best I could, their life must be “mea culpa”, they decide their future and I try to support them.
I tried to explain what is the best for them without pressing them.
I am not saying what I did was right, just what I did, only time will tell if I did correctly or what I did correctly. Your children is your most vicious judge.

Oh yeah the markers changed world wide to lower … And I don’t think it’s a good thing…
But when I am looking at the United States its a little bit strange… T*ts (this word is not allowed here 
) and dongs are dangerous but blood, killing and slaying is OK. And the love for guns… I don’t know anybody who has a gun… I think that’s impossible in the United states. Maybe the other way around 
Not every kid has good parents and sometimes it would be better when law and rules will get these kids.
I played games on my amiga and nobody cares about what is this game showing me… Ah I remember one thing … And here it’s like in the United States… Once I got copy of a strip poker game… My father saw this and destroy the disc and say i am too young… So I played terminator or one of the other 1000 games I had 
But at this time the games where not that realistic as they are now so that’s a big difference. I don’t think my parents will let me play Conan.
But showing a child parts of the game is not wrong. Few weeks ago my 3 year old nephew comes to me and I made a safari with him
I was at the mounds of death and want to show him elephants and rhino’s. I know the most spawn points of the undead so I was able to go there without seeing one of them. I told him that we just watching from the distance. That is a wonderful peaceful animal but it could be dangerous for people when they where scared…
His question: can we give him some food. Like I am feeding the ducks…
I think that is a good idea… with jabahl altar you already have some food but that’s not what it is for 
…

I really enjoyed your post and it brought me memories too, thank you. You missed the arcade stores that we were playing mortal combat and we could do “fatality” .
One point however, If you allow me, it is very gentle and we have to be very careful. This point is the country of our fellow exile we speak. We are allowed to say everything about our country, first because it’s ours and second because we suffer the system of it. But in no case we have the “right” to point mistakes of other countries, it’s not right 
, non sensible. So if United States has “issues” to their system, this can be told only by an American, only he/she can say anything he wants for his/her country and we must only listen and apply our opinions gently and supportive.
I respect every single flag this world carries and every culture.

Yes of course you are complete right at this. Maybe my post sounds like i have a problem with the United States. I don’t want to judge the country and never the humans that lives there. That’s a great and beautiful country and even with the things that I am not ok with… I would say the world is a better world with the United States. But also i don’t understand why some things are like they are and they are ok with it.
I have family in the United States and I am realy scared about some of their minds and views about the world. But that’s a too big discussion to make it here
I want apology if someone saw this as an offense. I love every human! I have only a problem with some political systems or politicians that are against all or some of their people.

i mean when u start to think most things are damn nonsense what we watched as kids… but even so way back then cartoons was better than now those blue guys and time travelers morty … getting sick even to watch on them, disgusting, but well, i guess i am now old enough to say, i miss my childhood, even it was like 2005-2010 : i less played games, but more wandered with waterbaloons around throwing at pretty girls at summer 
So i actually cant say most stuff or how games or movies or computer may changed me because i just did not had them

However I am really happy I see a young man swimming against the river with wings on his back to help him go faster… My time for this has come and gone and even if nothing was possible to convince me to swimm with the river flow, my children managed it before they even cry in this world, all it took was my wife announced her pregnancy, I never felt so scared in my whole life, even when I was serving in my country and prepare for war, not even then. What gave me wings was his heartbeat in the doctors monitor… Sooo fast, so unique, I still remember this day, this day change my life, change ME. I wish you will live this day my friend with all my heart, nothing compares these moments , nothing.

But of course. And please, I hope that you did not mistake my post as scathing criticism, as I would never. Although I am sure I have said multiple times now, you are one of my most valued friends here on the forum. And with your friendly and good natured demeanor stelagel, honestly, at this point in time you deserve this Asura title more than I do. But I digress. This was more of an insightful, good natured discussion between between friends.

I shall not draw this point out and risk making your story more complicated than it need be or detracting from your point. Kudos.
And to this end I understand your concerns. But do bear in mind that just to say…raise a wolf or tiger then pet it, a player would still need to level to an extent that they can unlock the appropriate Feat, survive in the appropriate biomes and procure the baby animals (requiring suitable weapons armor and healing products), have the know how to construct the animal pen, determine and gather the appropriate foods to grown them. Which leads me to this intertwined point.
Drach I get it man. Look go over my post history and you will see that I have been one of the most vocal proponents on this forum for more gore and brutality. Yet every time I have raised it the idea gets ignored, shouted down, or is usually lucky to pull half a dozen likes and this still frustrates me to no end. Here some examples:

Adding the ability to pet an animal is not tantamount to my little pony or paw patrol characters making a guest appearance, or replacing swords with boquets of flowers and candy cannes. And to be frank I would say that adding the cartoonish likes of the Conan Chop Chop figurines was more an affront than this. Real life warriors and historical figures patted their horses and their hounds.
