Can we get some GRAY stone?

I feel like we are talking about a dress.

Terrain dressing.

Drachen, you are incorrect about the colors. Perhaps you are slightly color blind, or someone that refuses to be wrong. Please see the attached screenshot. The arena wall has red tones. This becomes more clear when you observe the grey grout. I also have a grey serpent man statue, and the red toned sigil to illustrate further the color tone difference. There is also an radium torch dyed “white” to showcase this even better.

After more then 4 years the only thing that I really really want to be grey are the sandstone pieces. God please. I can´t see that yellow any more.

Use Radium Lights…

Also, why would anyone WANT to build with sandstone? So soft and crumbly, enemies can just walk right through it…

Tell that my enemies. Everywhere you go you see that sandstone “things” and I hate it.

I would love that so much. Kinda like The Sims 3 color wheel. LOL Especially if it applied to DLC!

Not in the desert on the Exiled Lands but on Isle of Siptah. Still brown.

I think it’s definitely brown.

The new radium torches are always tinted yellow, no matter what dye you put into them. Dyeing them white only makes them slightly dimmer (because that makes sense) and in no way reduces their yellowness.

However, I think all of this debating is rather pointless.

If the objective is to have a gray stone in the desert with yellow torches, then start with what looks gray under those conditions and work backward to what the color needs to be for those results. That is what this topic is actually asking for.

The objective is a gray stone build set that actually matches the gray rocks in the more northern regions. So far we literally have nothing that color.

The torches change colors with dyes placed in them. Perhaps you haven’t logged in since that was fixed a couple patches ago?

Perhaps you didn’t click the linked text.

Cast light is better, but when I made that post two and a half months ago, I had not tested as many dyes yet, and radium torches with white dye do cast yellow light.

Throwing my lot here. I see it as brown. More specifically, what the game lists as “Muted Brown Dye”.

You have to forgive my late response.
We were delivering the house so the past days were madness. As I promised I send a photo with the pebble floor done. The rest around the pebble design is mosaic in Grey-yellow sade.

Funnily enough, I’ve just spent a couple of weeks training in tiling. Haven’t done any pebble work yet, but that is really beautiful

@DanQuixote , I didn’t do it either. I am just the supervisor in this construction. In order to fix a pebble floor is years of experience plus artistic blood which I don’t have. There are not more than 3 persons in the whole island who really know how to do it traditional without cement. Every single pebble is collected from the beach, that means that the pebble collection for these 2 small pieces of floor had more or less 16 hours collecting pebbles for 2 persons. Depending on the size of the pebble you have to choose different locations.
This job is a pain from the very beginning and it doesn’t look the same with customized (factory) pebbles.
The outcome however is always unique, so it worths all the effort.

Oh wow - that’s even more work than I anticipated - individually collected natural pebbles, that really is true craftsmanship from beginning to end  Even the pre-made mosaic tiles (that come in kinda sheets, held together by a little backing twine) still seem like hard work - I can barely imagine the level of skill this sort of work requires.

It certainly is
