Future DLC Requests

I need a different type of glass window, one with a wooden frame that mixes and matches with other sets better than the stormglass.

I also need vases/plant pots with flowers, vines, placeable trees, a triangle planter, placeable food, wall tapestries and so on. An ornate wood wall set would blend nicely with the Nemedian set for many of my designs. I like the interior pf the Frontier but cant stand the look of the pokey nails on the other side so i often just use stable walls for interior room devisions.

I would love to able to have my exterior walls be one style and the interior wall another, but that’s likely not gonna happen.

Edit: i suppose for a cultural DLC the ones I’d want most are Cimmarian and Nordheimer/Aesir

This one has so many suggestions!
As DLCs tend to be cultural packs, this one will start there.

Hyrkanians, Stormswept Steppes. This one had hoped Riders of Hyboria was going to be this culture. Built pieces may be limited, or could look like cloth or hide covered wood. Placeables should include yurts. Much like tents, but less open looking, something that is believable shelter. For gear, the Hyrkanians are sorta kinda Mongolians or other steppe horse nomads. This could include their own furs and lamellars, as well as heavier sets inspired by Yuan Dynasty China, which was Mongolian rules anyway.
Watch the movie Mongol and the Netflix Marco Polo for some of this one’s inspiration. But also Subotai from the Conan the Barbarian Movie.

Civilization, Ancient and Wicked.
A culture pack that would combine Stygian and Zamoran build pieces. There is already some Stygian and Zamoran gear, but this set could fill in the blanks for those. Also, a wish for a Khopesh that does not suck.

Lost in Time and Space.
A set that would focus on lost civilizations. Stormglass sorta works for Acheronian, but Lemurian or Atlantean build pieces. Gear already has been touched on a bit for Lemurians, so filling it out with an other, stranger styles may be an idea. An excuse to introduce bizarre looking arms and armour, possibly something vaguely reminiscent of the Meso-American empires

Also, this one would like to see a Black Kingdoms culture pack. Not just because this one likes Rungu club designs. Given how many different cultures could be covered under this umbrella, it’s an opportunity to include numerous looks and architecture from Benin, Akan, or the Bali Empire.

As for non-culture DLC, such as Siptah…
Honestly, one set in the ruins of one of the lost civilizations wouldn’t be the worst.
Alternatively, something not unlike Xuthal the city of lotus eaters or other isolated spot where an elder horror has posted up and thus may have an environment that doesn’t have to make sense, while still being populated by both friend and foe, and excessively difficult to leave.

These are DLC suggestions.
There are many features that this one would like developed into the game, but that this one does not think should be DLC.

I would like more character options for sure, as long as we don’t go into Ark style sliders. I enjoy the look CE has for its player character style

I would love stucco walls and clay tile roofs. Also Bavarian/alpine building pieces.

I would like outhouses and spitting camels you can ride/punch.

I would enjoy coffins, grave markers of types, and bones strewn on the ground, like the Darfar and Dogs of the Desert have.

This has been argued before by myself and others members. Honestly at this point in time I would much prefer, and openly encourage Funcom to break the mold and try a different approach for a DLC, as opposed to simply adding in another cultural pack. Allow me to clarify. Please understand, I am not suggesting that we shouldn’t add more building pieces. But as it stands now we already have some 13 different sets of T3 pieces to choose from. Similarly, I feel that we already have more than enough weapon reskins to choose from, to the extent that crafting menus are now becoming very bloated and cumbersome to navigate, especially on consoles. There are probably a number of different approaches that I eould suggest could be taken:

  1. a religious artifacts pack . Virtually all of the games religions items feel underpowered, and our choice in religion is lacking in gravity meaningfulness. The next best thing may be to give each religion some additional cosmetic items. For example some more placeables, statues, decorations, weapons and armors.

  2. Add an agricultural pack , perhaps with some different seeds, planters (double or triple planters), and perhaps some basic crops and poduce such as wheat, yams or fruit trees, perhaps some placeable ivy or climbing plants we can attach to walls like we would a banner, or a placeable patch of fertile soil.

  3. Or how about a savage survivalist pack , which contains some additional types of fur rugs (its crazy to think in a game where we play as barbarians, there is only 1 type of fur rug!), more taxidermy options, some different animal skulls we can harvest and place like the weathered ones, perhaps even some severed heads, or some purely cosmetic reskins of some of furniture and/or crafting stations, which look more primative or rudimentary as opposed to opulent and civilised.

  4. None of these 3 sound appealing!? Then how about a storage expansion pack . We have had numerous calls for more storage options in Conan Exiles. Everything from adding new storage options such as a chest of drawers, barrels, urns and sacks, through to some more cultural variants or reskins of existing small and large chests. Cupboards especially need some love, still having just the one weathered variant.

Does everyone see what I am getting at with these ideas? Even if it is any not these suggestions specifically, I would like to see Funcom try something a little different this time around. I do not wish to speak for anyone, and to each individual their own opinion, but I would have notrepidation purchasing one of the above.

You lost me at yams. Disgusting.

@Croms_Faithful I would love more type of placables to store things in, or on.
As far as I am able to tell we can only have two types of shelves, and other than the vaults and refrigerators, we only have the wooden cupboards. More styles of things to place your other things, besides just chests, would be nice.

Like you said, things like bags, drawers, barrels…coffins.

I’d like to see a dlc that is actually viable to use over black ice. I have every single dlc but 9/10 always using black ice because it’s much easier to produce.

Is Sepermeru supposed to be Stygian? I always thought it was a melting pot of various cultures?

It’s primarily Stygian. The relic hunters were comissioned and sent there by Thoth-Amon, and they settled there in a Set worshipping settlement

I like this. Anything that allows me to take my builds to the next level is welcomed. I sometimes feel like my home lacks “life” or that feeling of being lived in. I like to make the best of what I have, but I can only go so far.

This one was very surprised when the materials for building the stormglass pieces, especially the windows, were the hardened brick rather than black ice.
