We have a quick patch available for PC to take care of some stuttering and framerate drops the community has been reporting recently. It’s a small patch, with only one change, but we feel it’s an important one nonetheless.
Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.
Fixed an issue that caused framerate drops when playing. This should reduce the stuttering introduced in the latest patch. This should also fix the bug where thralls and pets would disappear when placed outside in a single-player game.

We have a public bug tracking board here! You can check this to track the issues that get brought up by the community the most. In the “For prioritization” column you can vote for the issues you would like us to prioritize and we will make sure it gets moved into development asap. You can read the full details on how it works on the forum post here.
The Stuttering got better in a few areas, but now i have even more in others.
For Example at the Black Galleon.
Frames constantly are dropping. Wasnt the case before the Hotfix.
Playing on Single Player.
EDIT: after a bit of Testing, it seems there is no improvment whatsoever.
5 Minutes or so after login in it is still Stable, but after that it is pretty unbearable.
Pretty much everywhere.
Still the same lags , if you fixed the stuttering from the last patch, it doesnt mean it fixes the stuttering what is in the game since the release patch for me.

The minor stutter’s seem to have improved. The large spikes in both FPS and stat unitgraph in areas I was getting them before are still there. Possible improvements to some of the other spikes I was getting as the number of spikes seems to have lessened. Transitions between those areas of large spikes is pretty smooth for me.
I guess I should go on a big run and not just immediately to the same lag zone I recorded earlier. See if I notice smoother play between the worst spots. Sadly, the bad places are where I am hunting for thralls.
For some additional information, I decided to test this spot too. I am getting similiar spikes though not as significant (my spikes are about half of what Jack recorded). The biggest spike is when I turn my back to the cliff seen in Jack’s gif, and run back towards the grassy area, then turn back around and face the cliff again.
I can’t even tell if the patch did anything. Still getting lots of stuttering. Maybe it improved a bit, though this could just be placebo. If there was any improvement it’s imperceptible to me.
The first few minutes the game seemed to run a fair bit better, but after playing for a bit I noticed the stuttering again. So, not a lot of improvement, unfprtunately.
It still seems to trigger the most when loading new areas, especially with a lot of AI; also during combat, mostly when a strike of mine connects with an enemy.
Unfortunately that’s all the feedback I can give you right now, I’ll be sure to keep my eyes peeled for details.
Thanks a lot for the effort, though! Really appreciate it.
Still getting stutter and lag spikes. Maybe its less frequent but still very noticable and sometimes really annyoing if you are in hostile environment.
As I never had stuttering before in Conan Exiles, I can clearly point this to the latest updates.
This morning, pacific time Official Server PvP #1814 did not reboot as it typically does every morning. The pop up alerts were received threatening the reboot. But no reboot actually took place.
I am noting this here in case this is occurring in part due to the hotfix.
NOTE: I also reported this via the Official Servers Report form, as well.
What seems to be happening is that there is a long-standing problem(s) causing a variety of stuttering symptoms, that is getting progressively worse with each patch. More and more people are experiencing it. It was the pet patch that started it for me and it got worse in intensity after the katana patch. Others have reported experiencing the stuttering way before then. I’ve read people say they’ve noticed it since the combat patch, and also since launch.
In other words, Funcom absolutely has to get on top of this, otherwise it’s likely to get even worse and more widespread with additional updates and patches.
It is exactly the same as it were before the hotfix. It doesn’t matter where I am. I know every 5-10 seconds I will get a spike. I notice when I turn it will spike up. Combat is the worst. Seriously after patch Dec 10 this game was ruined for me and its my favorite game.
