Weekly bug round-up

(Not a report - just an attempt to list each bug or similar issue in the week as they come in)

Couple of older reports still missing from main list -

  1. Building and Placeables System -
    Wall rims no longer attach to walls, only on top - link

  2. Buildings and Placeables System - or - Bazaar, Rewards, Twitch Drops and DLCs -
    Blacksmith storage chest crafted in artisan bench not construction hammer, unlike all other specialized storage - link

Reported lower down on the bugs and issues thread since latest update:

  1. System lock/corrupted keys; Repeatable trigger caused by Co-op invite - link

  2. Lloigor in the Fractured Citadel have very low HP (1620 ish) - link

  3. Surges don’t spawn most crafters - link link

  4. Sometimes one or two Blood Defilers missing in Fractured Citadel Basement - (Possibly part of the same issue as ‘Enemies spawning late in several caves’ (General Gampelay and POI) - link

  5. Powerful bosses (Spider of Leng, Blood-moon Beast, Krlljandian, and Avatar of Bokrug) do not spawn anywhere in the Maelstrom no matter how long and how dense the spawned Ambient Elder Things - link

  6. Area in Netikerty’s Throne is devoid of NPCs - link

The following are all from one post on the Enhanced Bugs and Issues Thread:

  • Swapping to Spiderclimb boots makes climbing progressively slower - link

  • Trying to access a thrall via Stats or Rescue from the Follower list disconnects player form server - link

  • Corrupted spec Frenzy state missing graphic effect (still present if mounted) - link

  • Thrall/Feed pot problems - followers intermittently hoarding food - link

  • Can’t kill some unconscious NPCs - link

Other new reports:

  1. Server lag causing problems with Dregs final water valve - link

  2. Funcom launcher not saving server password - link

  3. died to ‘temperature changes’ while offline - (this may relate to reports of furnaces and campfires producing excess heat even when not in use) - link

  4. Giant Crocodile boss keeps shaking and re-setting - link

  5. Dismantling structures randomly dismantles another structure part in the base - link

  6. Armor stand ‘hotswap’ doesn’t lower body and feet items - link

  7. Armor stand torso invisible - link

  8. chest still has ‘physics’ in metal armor - link

  18. (Bazaar) Hunter’s Tent can no longer be placed on Sleeping Furs, despite them being sold together and illustrated that way - link

  19. Unable to break bond, or set them to properly follow, with follower from cage because “cannot be found” - also affecting hired tavern patrons (see second link) - link link link link

  20. Teleporters can put you inside floors - link link link link

  21. Nemedian Library Bookshelves cannot be aligned with walls - link

  22. Hot-key quick stack conflicts with AZERTY keyboards - link link

  23. Body distortion visual bug - link link

  24. Crafting giving inaccurate messages - says can craft more than you can, or states “Unable to craft 1 of that recipe: Max 0” - link

  25. Bug/exploit that resembles ‘speed hack’ - link

  26. Controller no longer has option to start/stop crafting benches - link

  27. When hovering over a container, bench, or any lootable thing, left and right on dpad with controller doesnt cycle through the items within. - link

  28. The remembrance tapestries from the Age of War Chapter 3 Battle Pass are messed up. Specifically, variant G and I. (The rank 17 and rank 53 rewards) - link

  29. The Decorative Onsen Painting will no longer stick to an eastern facing wall - since 12th June - link - also affects glow stick wall torches (see post below from illutian)

  30. Additional unexpected thralls in foolower list, server crash when attempt to look at their stats - link



Several reports from one (long) post - the links all go to the same post, the numbers are the numbers the poster gave to the issues -

  • Companion animals move sideways, animation bug - link (1)
  • Bodies stuck on invisible ledge - link (2)
  • Followers - non-meat-eaters steal all the meat from feed trough - link (3)
  • Some thumbnails out of date (eg Yamatai Crocodile) - link (4)
  • Visual bug - distorted geometric shadows - link (8)
  • Visual bug - shadow clipping at sunrise/sunset - link (9)
  • Controller - cursor disappears in crafting menus or chests - link (10)
  • Controller - no object rotation in dye station - link (11)
  • Low quality textures on some assets (wooden poles of Blackhand Tents, and some taxidermied animals) - link (20)

All these came from the June Patch 1.2.0 (which has been rolled back, so will need to be looked out for in future), but have not been reported since the rollback and release of 1.2.1, so may not exist right now:

  1. Icon for Iron Bars has changed to Executioner’s Hood - link link link link link

  2. bug on XP text box (maybe only in certain languages) - link

  3. inventory menu doesn’t work first time with controller - link

  4. Followers killed after respawning - link

  5. Problems with items on stonebrick or khitan pieces - link link

Has clan map markers been fixed? I disabled/enabled in game, and messed w. the settings in the actual Serversettings.ini; (EnableClanMarkers=True)

I’m assuming it’s still janky, but I’m more than happy to learn it’s something I screwed up!

Not as far as I know (it was initially announced as fixed when 1.2.0 came out, but that fix failed and was moved to ‘known issues’ even before the rollback).
This is not a complete list of all known bugs, just the ones that have been reported this week. For the ones that existed before that, see here
Kikigirl normally updates that list at the weekend, so this list should help provide her with a list of all the stuff that has showed up since her last update to the main list.

One thing to note about # 29 is it also affects glow stick wall torches. It does not affect the bracketed torch. Or the Argossean Wall Torch.

…which likely rules out there being an issue with “built on wall” objects vs “placed on wall” objects.

Think I found another bug…

After Patch 1.2, I cannot tell golems to emote. I thought it was just because only Stone-only golems were different.

But just did a test on solo play and an all-stone Golem has no emote options.

Yet on Official, I have a Stone Golem that can use emotes. Which was crafted prior to the patch.

Wonder if it’s related to the issues with commanding prisoner thralls. :thinking:

Like a ‘flag’ isn’t being set which is breaking both.

Interesting theory. I don’t know enough to really judge it, but it certainly could be plausible.

Did “players and thralls spawning inside foundations” get added yet?

I thought it was - but it looks like it’s still missing - we’ve got ‘teleporters putting people into foundations’, we’ve got two different versions of ‘thralls sinking into foundations’ - but we don’t actually have ‘characters spawning inside foundations’ - I’ll add that for next weeks list (and link to your thread - I thought we already had it…)

Yeah, tavern thralls, me,… literally anything that spawns in my base other than my worker thralls ends up inside a foundation. Yesterday I had a purge go on endlessly because the purge attackers ended up under the ground. They clearly broke something very critical to thrall pathing this recent patch.
